My little life.....

Hey!! I'm Jess, born and raised in the ole' Holy City Charleston, SC.  Full time momma of three adorable little aliens by the names of Jett, Elund, & Saylor. They are my absolute everything! My hubs & I have been vegan for 3 yrs now.  I discovered a passion for cooking up vegan love and creating new unique dishes.

Growing up in this southern state wasn't easy when I was a kid. I was a huge animal lover, pigs being my absolute favorite. When I was 5 yrs old a boy in my class told me as I was eating my bologna sandwich that I was eating a pig. I was horrified and brought to tears. I remember being at the dinner table and only eating my veggies. The thought of eating something that had once been alive broke my pure, little soul. It's truly sad that we are brainwashed into believing that it's ok to murder these innocent beings.

So this is my little space where I can share my recipes & tips I've learned along the way with YOU!

This blog is didicated to my Mother, Donna Jane McCauley. She loved my plantbased cooking and really wanted me to build a blog to share my creative passion and knowledge of healthy foods with others. She grew beautiful wings Febuary 13, 2017. Her spirit is still with me, giving me strength each day. I love ya, Ma. This is for you......
